Nicole Gillies grew up in northern Louisiana but has always been fascinated with New Orleans' unique culture. After studying Interior Design in her hometown and Jackson, MS, she realized that a move to New Orleans was desirable to further pursue and define her artistic expression. Over the past 6 years in the area, the combination of a passion for photography and expanding knowledge of the city and its sites has led to her desire to explore her creative vision. What was once a hobby has grown into a full blown love affair and led to the creation of original snapshots of the city. By combining her love of art, design, and photography with a vast array of vibrant colors, Nicole turns ordinary scenes into serendipitous designs.
